what better way to blow out 2008 than with a sub crawl! started at half 2pm at Govan and started making our way round through all the south side. by the time we got to the house party we were FUCKED. i was reminded earlier today about decking it outside the mcdonalds in partick and apparently kept pointing out places we could go to eat....despite eating AT THE TIME.

the last week

so it's been a long and crazy week. Not posted in a while, mainly coz i've been so busy/ill. I was down with the flu all last weekend, was horrible and i had to work on saturday too - not a fun shift! only managed to just recover in time for my birthday! went to radio and then met the uni crowd at the arches for octopussy. GOOD TIMES.

not a great deal to report since then. was workin friday and tonight (saturday), got pretty good tips. im hopin to pop into town tomorrow to get my xmas shopping done...argh. i really should sleep. really need to start revising too, and to get that dvd menu and shitey essay finished too. ARGH. it's in teh back of my mind. what a bitch. all this and i want to record some new choonz. sucks. oh aye, and football tomorrow, hopin fer our first win of the season! (this time it's a must win! (as always)).

i've started recording 2 new songs recently. not so catchy pop....i guess im just experimenting with my sounds and seein what i can do, it'll end with a good mix of songs, hopefully.

in other news! tomorrow is the LAST day of uni before the holidays. so gettin pished tomorrow! then workin saturday (changed my shift!) after the thistle game.

was at the villareal celtic game last night. the hospitality is SO much better there than it is at hampden!! not only that but it's the night that kieran had his first alcoholic drink since....well, ALMOST a year. 362 days i believe he said. CONGRATS. the drunk kieran is a very welcome person in this community.

what else....? not a lot to say...life sucks *stabby stabby*..... er. yeah. saw ben kweller on friday then went to cathouse which was lulzy. then on tuesday i was pendulum - just a massive rave. good times. got beardyman on sunday to look forward to! so many gigs! so little time! ...gonna have so start revising soon. :( sad times ahead. but, there's my birthday of course............then christmas, new years...not sure where i'll be at new years yet. possiblility of bein in dundee. fuck all happenin in glasgow and i def dont wanna be in town.

we'll see. im going to see if there's anything worth watching on ninjavid now.

quarter past 1am. gotta get up at half 7 for jury duty. fucked.

covered another shift at the common rooms again, tis a totally chilled place to be on a monday! vair much enjoyin it, that and the fact i got 12 free pint glasses and a free cocktail glass (lol wut?) purely coz they dont need em anymore.

Woop Woop! so today my sis phoned me randomly saying she'd given my number to one of the managers at common rooms as they needed someone to do a shift! and right enough, i was workin there half 6 to half 12...followed by some casual drinkage to around 2am.

Sound.

Now i'm working there part time! yass! fucking WIN.

of course - i didnt manage to get any songs recorded today due to this....but I can update with saying i now have the super shifter pedal. In the time I could've been recording the rest of certain songs I was pissing about with this pedal, but it's worth it - £120 OF ORGASMIC music.

i'll be using it in some new songs no doubt...not the next 2 i dont think...but soon! words simply cannot describe how fucking awesome this pedal is. it's like...aww just - FUCKING GOOD.

anyways.....it's 10 past 4. and im not tired yet.
so im gonna try (and fail) to sleep.
